Today, everyone has a camera, yet great photography is rare. This realization came to me after working many years in the corporate world.

I’ve been taking pictures avidly since before the age of 12. That’s when my father handed me my first Brownie. Back then, my work was black and white. I did all of my own film and print processing in a darkroom in the basement of my parents home. Many hours were spent learning, tweaking, retouching and exploring various aspects of photography, from the ground up.

I am an experienced golf event photographer and have been actively photographing the camaraderie and competition of the game for many years. My father influenced this part of my upbringing too by providing me with my very first set of clubs before my 12th birthday. How fortunate to have to life long passions before the age of 15.

One of my most exciting challenges is to capture the fun and intensity of the game as well as other significant moments of the day both candidly and formally. Golf taught me an understanding of the importance of what takes place both on and off the course, as well as the importance of capturing moments with friends, family, at formal occasions and at sport.
